Ray Mead (1921-1998)
Ray Mead studied in London at the Slade School of Art, in 1946 moved to Hamilton and became friendly with Hortense Gordon in 1949. By 1952 Mead was living in Toronto working as a commercial artist for the MacLaren Advertising Company, he was then transferred by his company to Montreal in 1958.
